Good afternoon folks

I had a fiftieth birthday party to go to this past weekend for a male friend and created this gift card holder.

I used all Tim Holtz stuff for this card!!

Love the metal numbers that I painted and the new chit chat words.  I also used Tim's full sheets of tissue paper to cover the box and how about those new long metal quote tags...SUPER!!

Here is a side view so that you can see how I layered all the pieces.  I included a pocket behind the top sentiment square so that I could add in a tag which contained a special note!

My house is a mess right now...demolition for a new kitchen...ugh!!!

Final Presentation

For those of you who are interested here is the visual component which accompanied my 75 page my thesis which I presented this April as part of my MA Degree in Fashion Design...this is why I was gone so long LOL

 

I am BACK!!

Hello Folks,

I know I have been gone for a while but I was finishing up my MA thesis! I also needed every spare minute to complete my clothing collection that accompanied my written work.

I am working on a video of my completed garments and a video of my exhibit in Boston.I am also gearing up to get back into my craft room again! Right now it has been taken over by my sewing paraphernalia but no worries it's under there :-) I also have some blog maintenance to do...good thing I have the summer off
