Good Morning Folks

I do not have a card to share today :-(

However, I have a solution to a storage problem.

Before I get to that, I have been visiting a great "Blog" for a while now called "Card of the Week". This nice woman, visits blogs all over the place and spotlights her favorites, What A Job!!

I do not know about you, but I have had my Nestabilities all over my room.

I had a temporary storage solution that just did not work.

As a result,  by accident tossed one of my dies in the trash....and it is gone!!

So last night I decided to do something before I made another darn thing LOL!!

This storage solution is not my idea, I read about it on Splitcoast a while ago and finally decided to give it a try.

I purchased a package of Magnetic Vent Covers from Home Depot for about 4.00 dollars.

You get three in the package and they cut like "butter", thin, pliable, and easy to use.

These measure 8x15 so I cut pieces of 4x5 so that,

I used the whole piece.

So now I have 6 pieces, that I cut, that measure 4x5.

I then cut chipboard pieces 6x6.

I glued, using Zip Dry the magnetic pieces to the chipboard pieces.

I tried other adhesive and it did not work!!!

You can see that the largest dies fit nicely and do not move.

I left a space on the edge to label the dies.  You could even glue the package info on the back if you desired. 

So I went ahead and did a few more.....(yes I have more, sad but true)

I made sure the pieces would fit in my drawer nicely

I like how they stack up and I can just flip through them choosing what I want.

You can see next to them I have some CD cases holding the dies that do not lie flat when stacked. These are the usually the Scallop Dies.

You can see that I placed some magnetic pieces in the box also to hold them down.

That is about it folks, that is what I did last night, whew!!!

I am glad it is done, now I can buy more, lots of room to grow LOL!!!

I can SO understand! I have rescued many a die from the trash! I was going to buy magnetic sheets...but these look cheaper!! Off to Home Depot I go! thanks for the tip!

I SO enjoy getting the Feedblitzs from your site, and love what you are doing! You are the best! I so miss being able to take your classes...the schedule with my choir rehearsal just doesn't work...a question for you, though...if I were to start buying Nestabilities(which I never thought I would do), what three designs and sizes would YOU reccomend as a starter?
