I have a new card "for you" today...

 

This card was made in response to two challenges..

The first Mercy Tuesday

 

and the second Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge, who asked us to make something with a border punch.

 
I think I covered all the bases on this one.  I started with Prism Deep Razzleberry and Black Card Stock on a 5x7 white card base. From there I added Delish (gray word) Paper (left over from yesterday).  I added a border at the bottom.  This border is a Martha Stewart Punch. The Pink Paper is from Webster's Pages, as well as the ribbon!!

 

The medallion in the center was made up of Just Rite Stamps and Oval and Scallop Oval Nestabilities. I also added some Gray Card Stock in there.

I stamped the Just Rite Image twice (so that I could layer the inner and outer rings) onto Prism Smooth White Card Stock and colored the image in with my Copics..

I then layered my pieces. I added Frost Stickles to the flower centers.

The white ribbon and "for you" stamp are from my stash.

Black and White Elegance

Good Morning Folks!

I am so happy to have my natural light back!

I can take decent photos again.

The storm clouds have cleared and we are going to have a beautiful day here on the NH Seacoast. Yeah!!

Here is my submission for this weeks MOJO Monday

I was dying to use these array of items from Delish.

Here is the sketch...

  I started with Black and Gray Card Stockon a 5x7 White Card Base.

I then used Delish Patterned Paper for the long rectangle.  I matted that with Silver Sparkle Paper from Best Creations.

I then cut the long black square from Black Sparkle Paper and matted that with White Card Stock.

The small square was left, it is more Delish Paper with plain Black Card Stock for a matt.

I added silver cordingaround these squares and threaded 2 Delish Silver Keys onto it. 

Onto the flower....The base flower is an Outline Stamp.  I inked it in black and cut it out. I then sent it through my Cuttlebug and embossed it.  A bit more black ink helped the embossing to stand out.

I then cut 2 flowers from a Quickutz Flower Die (one in black and one in gray).  This die had two pieces to it (a small flower in the center and an outline left over).  I used one of each.

The flower center is another Outlines Flower Stamp.  I inked it in black and cut that flower out.

The center gem is a Delish Brad, mmmmm LOVE it!!

I curled the flower petals so that it did not lay so flat.

 

I added a few more gems (black flower and crystals).

That is it!!

Tag you're it

Good Evening Folks

I made some tags for Christmas.

 I love this little bird!!!

The stamp is from Amuse.  I stamped it on Prism white Card Stock in Brown Memento Ink.

I colored him in with my Copics.  Unfortunately, no blending colors, the areas are too small.

You can see that after I cut the image out with a circle punch
 I sponged around the edge with more brown memento ink.  I sat the white circle on top of a Scallop Circle.  The Scallop Circle was cut using my Nestabilities and the Red Sparkle Paper is from Best Creations.

I punched out another Oval with my Marvy Punch, this time using Creative Imaginations Red/Kraft Paper.

The tag was cut using my Quickutz Tag Die.  The die comes with the reinforced circle tab.

The sentiment is also from Amuse, stamped on a Cuttlebug tag.

I finished the tag off with Christmas Red Stickles.

I used foam tape under the stamped white circle.

Thinking of You

Hi Folks

I had the Morning off today (school registration).

I still have to teach tonight, so this will be quick...

 I used A sketch from Beate Johns

I changed it a bit...what else is new.

The base green paper is from DCWV.  The top squares are made with Deep Teal Card Stock on the bottom, followed by white card stock that was Inked with Ranger Distress Shabby Shutters (green).  On top of that I added Stampendous Peel Offs (acorns/leaves). I left a small area on the side of the squares for Robin's Nest Brown Dew Drops.

I added some velvet ribbon (left over from Chatterbox) and two small tags stamped with "for you".

Fabulous

Good Afternoon Folks

I made this card for a friend over at Paper Craft Planet

Happy Birthday Susanna!!

 

I was so excited to use these new Papers from Webster's Pages.

These papers came from the 6x6 Pad.  I love these pads for card making because the prints are shrunk down in size, perfect for cards.

I also used my Impression Obsession Butterfly Stamp.  I stamped it on Prism Smooth Cream Card Stock and colored them in with my Copics.

Here is a close up of the butterflies and some of the other details.

I added a beautiful piece of lace (left over from my bridal design days).

The "fabulous" stamp and "Round Circles" are clear stamps from Anna Griffin. I stamped them also on the Smooth Card Stock with Pale Blue Ink.

The circles were punched out with my circle punch and the "fabulous" was cut out by hand.

The circles and the butterflies were inked on the edges with Ranger Watermelon Ink.

"It's Your Day" is another Impression Obsession Clear Stamp.  I Love this set of Mini Clear Stamps....I use them all the time!! They are a set of great little Mini Messages that go with almost everything.

I added some Pink Crystals in the middle of the circles and Waterfall Stickles on the Lace Flowers.

The butterflies were smeared with stickles layered to make it look like they are fluttering.

Happy Everything

 
Good Morning Folks

I was digging through my stash of stuff and came across my "Peel Offs" from Stampendous.

So no stamping today, just Peel Offs....

 

I used the "Trees" and "Acorns and Leaves".

The Paper is from Dream Street and Jillibean.  I also added some Kraft Paper as the base 5x7 card. I used my Nestabilities for the Tree Medallion.

My small tags were cut with Quickutz and I added gold cord through the top hole.

The sentiment "happy everything" comes with the Peel Off Set.

I also used Black Stickles to add some bling to the trees and edge.

I used the Taylored Expression Sketch again, I thought it worked well with these Peel Offs.

Snowflakes are coming

I love snowflakes....they are so beautiful!

That was all I thought about as I created this card...

 

I made this for a new Taylored Expressions Sketch.

Here is the sketch

I used a Clear Winter/Holiday Stamp Set from Impression Obsession.

I stamped them on Green Card Stock with Olive Green Memento Ink.

The sentiment also comes with the set. I stamped it in Olive Green Memento again and inked the edges with Ranger Cloudy Blue Ink.

The patterned paper is from Basic Grey.  The Sparkle Paper is from Best Creations.

 

The green Frame was left over from my last card.  It is the frame from the Outlines Stamp (give thanks).

The small pearl flakes are from my Bridal design Days (very old) hee,hee.

I used both foam tape and chipboard under some of my layers, I think you can see where I added it from the pic above.

WOW

Wholly Smolly!!

It has taken me all night to clear up my computer.

My camera just needed a battery....they burn out sooo fast!!

Anyway here is the card I wanted to share...

 

The photos are not so great ( I had to take them without natural light).

This card was made for a Mercy Sketch

 The technique that was my focus on this card was the background (green/aqua).

This started as plain white paper.  I embossed with clear powder an all over stamp design.  I then used Ranger Distress Inks (Shabby Shutters and Aqua) to bring out the design.  The ink does not stick to the embossed design, however the white paper beneath it gets inked.

 
I added Bo Bunny Paper underneath and DCWV Lined Paper with a flower vine that I colored in on top.

I love the velvet ribbon with the gems for bling.

You really can not see it, but under the sentiment the glitter paper adds some more bling.  The sentiment is an Outlines Stamp stamped in Olive Green Memento Ink.

 

You can see I also inked around the edge of the lined paper.

I like how the negative space speaks with this card.

The background Stamp is from Impression Obsession.

Hostess Gift

I Love the Holidays!!!

This is my favorite time of the year.

I always like to have something on hand in case I need a Hostess Gift.

I made this today....

I made Place Cards and a case to hold them.

The case measures  5 1/2" by 4"   and I will post the instructions to make this case if you request it.

Here is the top where all the place cards will sit.

The supplies are as follows: Dark Brown, Mustard, and Deep Orange Card Stock, Jillibean Felt Flowers/leaves, Stampedous Peel Offs (gold acorns), Felt "fall", Pumpkin Stamps from Impression Obsession.

I started with the Mustard Base square and added a Large Nestabilities die cut in brown on top.  I added another Nestabilities New Label Die in Deep Orange on top of that. Both of these pieces got embossed with folders (the large dot is Quickutz and the small dot is Cuttlebug).

I stamped the pumpkins on Orange card stock and heat embossed them with Ranger Queens Gold and cut them out.  I arranged all the items and glued them on the front as shown.  I also added brown gems I had in my stash for a million years LOL. You could easily add your own gems of any kind.

If you are interested let me know and I will show details of how I made the inside box for this holder........it was VERY easy!!!

The little cards inside the box can either be place cards or note cards.

They measure 4" by 4 1/2".

I used the Taylored Expression Sketch and went from there...

I was going to put the sketch in here, unfortunate my computer will NOT cooperate!! I need a new one sooo badly, OH Santa....LOL

How I put it all together....

 

I cut four small squares and added a medallion on top.  The Medallion is composed of two circle punches, it sits on top of the ribbon.  I added a flower bunch another bling and Lime Green Stickles.

The bottom border was punched with a Martha Stewart Border punch.

I added the names with my Rollerskate Quickutz Letters.

This project was so much fun....I thought about it all last night on my long ride home from work.
