Here is another card for you...(hold onto your hats, it's a Christmas Card)

If I do not start now I will not have enough to send at Christmas.

I started making this for a challenge...ahhhh, it did not work out.

I had to change it too much :-(

Oh Well.....

Isn't the stamp too cute!!!

It is from Stampendous.  I used my Copics to color it in and Sticklesto bling it up.

The paper is from Basic Grey, Christmas Collection, awesome!!!

I embossed the green circle with my Cuttlebug Folder and added White Ink to bring it out.

The brads are also new (I tossed the package out so I forgot the Company Name Oooops).

A pretty white bow gets this all ready for Christmas :-)

Autumn

Good Afternoon Folks

It has been a loooong past two days at school.

One of my fellow teachers had an emergency appendectomy!

Since we teach the same classes I was asked to fill in.....wow!

I did not mind because this teacher is a totally awesome but,

I had to teach two classes at the same time (going back and forth between the two).

After the 6 hour class...I did not know who "I" was LOL.

Anyway....what better way to recover than get lost in designing cards :-)

Here is the latest....

This card was made in response to a SCS (Splitcoast Stampers)

Card Sketch Challenge.

Here is the sketch

I added a sentiment at the top and turned the card on its side.

The paper I used is from Bo Bunny, I love this color combo!!

The square medallions were made with my Marvy Square Scallop Punch, Cuddlebug Stamp Die, and a smaller Marvy Punch.

I used Best Creations Pink Sparkle Paper in between.

The Sentiment was made with the new Spellbinders Fancy Tags.  I stamped a new Impression Obsession Sentiment and layered it on the tag.

I inked the edges of the tag to bring out the design a bit more.

I added Lace Ribbon from Chatterbox and some fine Gold Cord for a bit more bling!

The Gold Dew Drops in the center of the flowers are also new!!

Stickles, of course, finish this off, Gold to be exact.

One Big Treat

This card was made in response to 

Crazy For Sketches

 

How cute are those Witch's Shoes !!!!

This is a new stamp from Stampendous.  I love these new stamps because they are "cling" stamps.  They are applied to you clear blocks, but have the nicely etched rubber I like.

I stamped the image on White Prism Smooth Card Stock with Black Memento Ink. This Image got colored in with my Copics.

Copics used: My Fav greens (sidebar) and the my new oranges Fav's YR15, E93, E97. I will be adding these to my sidebar list.

I colored in the negative white area in between the legs with my C0 and BG0000.

These are both Very Pale and added just the right amount of shadow to finish this coloring.

I have gotten into tearing since my "outside of the box" challenge LOL!

I tore the image and inked the edges.  I added Orange and Lime Green Stickles (hee, hee)

The orange card stock beneath the stamped image was embossed with my Quickutz Diamond Folder and "lightly" inked to pick up the embossed image.

The sentiment is my favorite part of this card.  The stamp is from Impression Obsession.  I stamped it on White Card Stock and layered it on the New Fancy Tags from Nestabilities. LOVE these new Tags!!!

These tags are Very ornate, but also look great with "shabby chic" images.

Stickles were also added to the fancy edges.

Bugs and Hisses

Good Morning Folks

I did something a bit out of the ordinary......

this card is so not me, but I think I like it LOL!

The spider stamp is new from Stampendous, along with the sentiment "Bugs and Hisses".

I made this card for two different challenges....the first for

SCS WT237

(make something out of your comfort zone or something you do not normally do)

Well this card is definitely not me, it is simple and "roughed" up.

The other challenge was a sketch from

Mercy Tuesday

I changed it around a bit, but it is all there.

Here is a side view...

After I stamped the spiders three times on Prism Smooth White Card Stock I cut and tore the edges.  Then I inked the edges and "roughed" the edges up by curling them.

The 5x7 card got layered with Black Card Stock, Orange Designer Paper from Robin's Nest, and Bo Bunny Green Dot Paper.

Before adhering the square with the spiders I added a silver twine around it and tied it.

The sentiment was easy...stamp, punch out with my Marvy Scallop Punch and layered on another Marvy Punch.

Lime Green Stickles finish the off....Quick and easy!!!

Boo

Good Afternoon Folks

Late post today, trying to get over my migraine :-(

I wanted to make something super cute today to really make me smile and

This stamp is adorable!!

 This is a new stamp, just in to Wholly Scrap from Stampendous!

The Boo Sentiment is also just in from Outlines!

The card was made for

MOJO Monday

The sketch

I replaced the circles for ribbon strips....

I used mostly card stock and one designer paper Creative Imaginations.

You can see how it all got layered.

This cat stamp is so stinkin cute!!

I colored him in with my Copics after he got stamped on White Prism Smooth Card Stock.

I did stamp him again and cut out the leaves and layered them on.  I added Flower Soft to the leaves for added texture.  He got layered with my Nestabilities (Scallop Square and Squares).

The Boo Sentiment was done much the dame way.  Stamped on White Card Stock and colored in with Copics. Stickles: Orange, Lime Green, and Black were added to both stamped images.

This card was made with the

new sketch# 247 over at SCS

.

Here is the sketch

 I made this card using the New Bo Bunny Papers.

I added some Rust and Pink Card Stock.

The sentiment was created with my Just Rite Fall Stamp Set.

I stamped the image twice on Cream Prism Smooth Card Stock.  I cut the ovals out using my Nestabilities.  I added Black and Pink Sparkle Card Stock to this medallion.

The black ribbon is from my stash and I added it this time in between the oval layers.

The buttons match perfectly, because they come with the line of Bo Bunny Papers.

You can see how it all got layered.  Foam tape was used under the top square, under the black oval, and under the pink sparkle oval.

I finished all this off with Stickles (Copper, Cinnamon) and Black Doodlebug Gems.

Dream

Good Evening Folks

Where have I been?

I worked at the store all weekend, so no time to post or play :-(

I did a card a few weeks back and never got a chance to show it, well this is a perfect opportunity....

(this is an old photo so you can not enlarge it)

The paper is from DCWV (Die cuts with a View) "Mi Casa" This paper pack came from Michael's.

I added some card stock: brown, blue and rust.

The brown card stock was Embossed with my Quickutz Retro Diamond. 

The yellow ribbon is from Chatterbox.

My favorite part is the sentiment circle that I made with my Circle and Scallop Nestabilities......

 It was stamped with my Just Rite Friend Stamp Set.

You can see I stamped the image twice and raised the tree top up with foam tape.

Love the corduroy buttons also from Chatterbox.

Because the Nestabilities allows you to cut your paper in so many sizes My Sentiment Circle has a few layers of color giving it a lot of pizazz.

Stickles finish this card off Waterfall, Lime Green, and Cinnamon.

Witches Hat

Good Morning Folks!!

I finally got around to the MOJO Monday Sketch.

Here is a new Halloween Card for you.....

You can see I used squares instead of circles.

Love this new Witches Hat stamp from Outlines!!

I stamped the image with Memento Black Ink on White, Orange,Red and Green Card Stock.

I used my Image on the white as a base to layer the other three colors.

I then cut out pieces of the orange, red and green images and layered them on top of the white base.  Some of these pieces(the red band and the hat itself) I added foam tape.

The "Sweet Halloween" Sentiment is a stamp from Impression Obsession.

You can see certain areas of the hat I added Ranger "Glossy Accents" for an added effect.

I started with Black Card Stock on top of a 5x7 base white card. I then added some left over card stock strips at the bottom.  I did use a Red Glitter Paper from Best Creations strip as an accent.

No Stickles, but Clear Gems and a big white bow finish this card off!!

Boo Who Shoes

Good Morning Folks!

I have a new card for you.....

I tried to follow the new Mercy Tuesday Sketch....it got twisted a bit , but it is all there.

Here is the sketch

 

I used the new Outlines Halloween Stamps, that just came in!!

I Love Outlines!!!

I stamped the image on 3 different color card stock....white, orange and teal.

I then started with the base white stamped image and started layering the cut out pieces from the orange and teal.

   

You can see here I cut out the orange stamped image shoe heels and glued them on the white stamped image.

I then cut out the teal shoes from the teal stamped image and layered them on the white stamped image (I used foam tape under the shoes).

I did the same for the top of the socks and buckles.

Orange and Teal Stickles, glitter pen, and stones filled in the rest of it.

The small sentiment is from Just Rite.  I stamped the image on teal and white card stock and used my Nestabilities to cut and layer the medallion.

 

The other paper is dark teal and black card stock and designer paper from Little Yellow Bicycle and Creative Imaginations.  Chipboard was used under the orange paper and a white ribbon/bow was added.

  

This side view gives you a better idea how it all got put together.

The photos are not great today..sorry..the light in my sun room wasn't quite right.

Texture is Lovely

Good Morning Folks!

As I begin my new schedule for this teaching year I am finding out that Mondays and Tuesdays will be difficult to get any card making done.  These are two 14 hour teaching days....yes we all know I can talk......but.....whew!!!

Anyway the rest of the week will be filled with lots of card making goodies to be sure!!

In the meantime I have a class planned for next Saturday 9/26 at

I will be using the new Ranger "Sticky Back Canvas".

Love! this stuff!!! The texture is beautiful!!!
