Good Afternoon Folks
I had the opportunity to play along with the
Tag Challenge Today
I started with a plain manila tag, crumpled it up and used distress inks and roughed up the edges to give it the worn look.
I then stamped a word image over it with a darker distress ink.
I added ribbon and a strip of paper down the side and a sentiment.
The flower was made with Tim Holtz Kraft Glassine papers. I punched out a flower shape 6 times and crumpled them up and inked. This technique is demonstrated on my you-tube video which you can find if you look to the left under tutorials...click on "Paper text flowers". These glassine papers are awesome...they are a semi-translucent wax coated kraft paper that come in a small pack of 36 pages...super cool!!!
The bird is a Sizzix cut using paper and old book pages.
The bingo card is an embossing folder by Tim Holtz which was inked and twine was added.
So much fun!! You could add this tag to a gift or use it on a scrapbook page.
Off to work....
Thanks for stopping by
Peace Out
