I am still on my Shabby Chic kick....someone stop me!!!

 
I got a plain white box (gift box) from Michael's and designed a beautiful gift box or boudoir box.  My Mom goes crazy for little trinket boxes like these...stocking up for Christmas :-)

 
I glued large pearls for the feet

 
This is a great size for those little treasures!

 
It is all about the layering!!!  Graphic 45 Paper, Pink Paislee Butterfly Paper, antique lace, pearls, stick pins, flowers, and glitter are the supplies I used.

The frame is not included in the class, but you will be leaving with a finished 5x7 piece ready to be framed, just take the glass out.  You could also use a shadow box.

What a great gift for that someone who has everything but a little shabby chic...hahha

You will be learning lots of layering techniques!

Upcoming Class

Good Afternoon Folks

I have caught the shabby chic bug! 

It has always been my favorite style of decorating and now I have brought it over into my paper crafting world.

Many of you know that I was a couture bridal designer in Boston for years and my bridal left over "stash" as well as my love for elegance has helped contribute to these following tags I created.  Along with some inspiration from Lynette Carroll's work!

We will be using the Graphic 45 "Once upon a springtime" line, Nestabilities, embossing folders, a new sizzix die to make the pleated flowers, as well as many elegant embellishments from Prima and Webster's Pages!!!

Dog-on Cute

Good Morning Folks

I made another book ....this one is for my daughter who works with dogs.

She came home for the holiday and I just HAD to make something for her!!

 
Most of the products I used for the book are new and just in to

Newly Designed Book

Good Afternoon Folks

As promised here is my newly designed book.

 
I used DCWV Lemon Flower Paper.

 
I created the book with a large spine so that it could accommodate all my embellishments.

 
The pages are all Pockets.

 
The pull tab for the side pocket is a Quickutz die "seal".

 
I also made some pleated flowers.

 
Look at the areas for photos and journaling!!!

 
There are 5 pages in all.

 
The tabs on the left side (golden yellow paper) are made from the Tim Holtz small shaped dies...I folded them in half.

 
I LOVE this paper line...however DCWV Paper is heavy coated and I am finding cracks on all the folded edges :-(

 
I really enjoyed designing this book and will be doing an instructional video as soon as I can.  I will keep you all updated!  What summer vacation??? LOL
