Good Evening Folks

I have been working my tail off on a new project.

I am working on a class CD that you can purchase and take home.

Many people do not have the time to take classes so this would be perfect to find some of your own quiet time and take the class at your leisure in the comfort of your own home.

The first CD I am working on is the file folder box I showed a few days ago.  I have kits all ready to go (just waiting on one more product to be delivered) and the CD is just about complete all with photos and directions...whew!!

I also worked on a new book design today!!!...so cool...I will share tomorrow when daylight will help with the photos.

In the meantime I have a card to share ....

I have family visiting from out of town so this will be quick....

I was inspired by Lynette Carroll a very elegant designer!!!

 
You all know how much I love to layer with chip board and the remains of my Graphic 45 Springtime paper came in very handy!!

 
Butterflies and flowers are also up my alley!!!!

My stash of fun stuff helps out too.

Oh the possibilities

Good morning folks

This is the second time trying to post this...my computer decided to update and shut me down!  I thought I said postpone...oh well here we go again...

I have a project that I have been working on for the last few days

 
Isn't she cute!!

This is not my original design, the inspiration for this project came from Marion Smith a very talented paper crafter...I love her style :-)

I did decide to create another option for the inside.  Marion chose to use envelopes, but I decided they were too limiting and designed another option...

 
The inside of this box is set up as a coupon organizer...I made the pockets larger so that they had the ability to hold embellished cards.

 
You could use this box for photos, recipes, cards, ...

 
I used Jillibean Paper and embellies, chip board, Prima Flowers, and card stock.

I took this box apart 3 times to get the look I wanted...wheww!

Quick post before I head off to work my summer job

Here is a card I want to share

 
I used my new nestabilities label die and a Just Rite Stamp for the sentiment.

You can see I used the same ribbon from the other day...sweet!!

The green envelope with the card was stamped (you can barely see it) with versamark for a watermark look.  The store is now carrying colored envelopes in different sizes!!  These new envelopes have a printed inside and fancy edges (to the part you lick).  Ha ha there has to be a name for that part of the envelope I just don't know it.

The paper is from Anna Griffin.  This is the second card with this paper combo...can ya tell I like it.

I will be at the store this afternoon stop by and see me :-)

Clean up

Good Morning Folks

I finally got a chance to really clean up my craft space!!!

It was sooo crowded because I had to bring my industrial sewing machine into the space to work on my clothing collection.

Well after much thought, purging, and rearranging here are some pics of my newly cleaned up space...

 

The BIG project for this room was to get all of my cubes into this closet.  The problem was that the opening to this closet was half the size it is now...so I would not have access to all of these drawers.  It was a waste of good space.  Hubby and I opened up the opening (lots of power tools!!) and re-framed it so that I now have my cubes in the closet and I can open all the drawers.

I did still have some space on the sides of the cubes that I did not want to waste so...I added long shelves in between the cubes creating areas on the sides to store my paper packs.  Do you see them?

It still needs a white curtain.

 
My craft space is really a sun-room with huge windows and a sliding glass door that goes out to the back yard...very little wall space!!

 
Here is my industrial sewing machine I had to fit in...the cubes were stacked where the machine sits right now.  I had to empty the closet..wheww!!! Thank God for Wholly Scraps Yard Sale this past weekend!!

 
My dog loves to sit in his chair and watch the world go by while I work LOL

I have no heat in the room so that cute little heater is a necessity!!  You can see the white door which is the access to the house!! Yikes this room always has to look tidy :-(

I think I have done almost everything I could possible do with this space and still make it look presentable.

That's the 5 cent tour LOL maybe you will be inspired to rework your space.

Well Hello There!!

Long time no see!!  I have finally finished the school year and could not wait to get started using all my new goodies I have been collecting.

I got to use a few of my NEW Nestabilities.....woohooo!

The sentiment stamp is from Just Rite and the patterned paper is from Anna Griffin.

 
The ribbon is really what inspired this card sooo pretty!!  You know I love the bling...I used gems and pearls all around the cream circle and the new color of stickles FireFly on the green circle.  I used 4 different Spellbinder's dies on this card..I love layering them :-)
