Chicks for Thanksgiving

Good Evening Folks

I know this is a late post, but I was in Rhode Island today with my daughter :-)

Here you go.....

   

This was made for last weeks SCS Sketch Challenge, I never got around to posting it til now. 

I LOVE these guys!!!

They are soooo cute!!!

The Chicks Stamp and the Happy Thanksgiving Stamp are from Stampendous.

Here is a close up of the coloring.  I used my Copic Markers to color this image (see below for colors used) and Ranger Red Brick Distress Ink with the Block and Sponge for the soft red around the edge.  The image was stamped with Brown Memento Ink on Prism Smooth Cream Card Stock. I cut the oval out with my Nestabilities and layered it on a Scallop Nestabilities. The Brown shape is a new Nestabilities, I love the layered effect!!

I used the scraps of Paper left over from the project I showed a few days ago, I love this color combo!!

The red print is from Creative Imaginations, the rest is from Jillibean.

The Happy Thanksgiving tag was cut with Nestabilities Tag set. It was stamped on Prism Smooth Cream Card Stock.  I used Ranger Antique Distress Ink for the edges.  You HAVE to get the Ranger Block with the Velcro Sponge attachment.....it allows you to get the nice soft smooth edges for you inking.

A few Brads and Stickles finish this card off!!

I did add foam tape under the Oval and Scallop layers.

I was recently asked if I were to choose only 3 Nestabilities to start my collection which would I choose?

Ann...If I were to choose only 3 Nestabilities to start my collection I would go with

Plain Circles, The Scallops to match, and a tag set.
