Before I get down to business I would like to thank you for stopping by....
MANY of you have left very nice comments.
Your support is greatly appreciated!!
Unfortunately I will not be able to use my smileys anymore :-(
The website that I used to download them left a Trojan virus on my laptop.
That will teach me to download sites I do not know anything about.
Anyway......
I hope my family does not see this post because they are all getting one for Easter.
The size of the card is 5x7 and I triple layered it before I added the decorated strip. I used blue, pink and white Prism Card Stock.
The next layer is the patterned paper from the Best Creations Easter Line.
The strip at the bottom is also layered. Pink, then Yellow
(embossed with the Swiss Dot from Cuttlebug).
The three squares were made by layering the Marvy Square Scallop and Square Punches. (you could also use Nestabilities)
The first layer is the Blue Paper (Reminisce Spring Swirls).
The second layer is a square cut with the Pink Card Stock.
The third layer is white card stock cut using a smaller scallop punch.
On this white card stock I stamped "Chics" from Stampendous.
They are so stinking cute!!
I colored them in using my water color pencils and after they dried I added some sparkle with my sparkle pens.
I also stamped "thinking of you" by Inkadinkado on pink card stock and layered on a white scallop square.
Ribbons, Flowers, and Stickles...... done.
Stickles: Fruit Punch, Waterfall, and Crystal
You can see above, I used lots of foam tape to pop up certain areas.
I hope you enjoyed this card !!!
Here are some of the supplies I used.
I have had a long day...

This will be a quick post, I have to get ready for work........
The Basic Grey has another new line out called
It is beautiful!!
Lots of jewel tones. It also has a masculine/Moroccan feel for those son/husband/father pages.
I know my husband always complains that the paper I use for him is too feminine.
Anyway I made a fast card this morning and wanted to share........
Once again I used the larger size card base (5x7).
I matted the card with Blue Prism Card stock and Basic Grey Marrakech.
I went back to the blue card stock again and cut a Nestabilities Scallop Square.
I used two more papers from the Basic Grey Line and cut two more scallop squares each decreasing in size.
The last scallop square I cut I also cut out the center so that I could place
a smaller scallop square topped of with a beautiful Karen Foster Sparkle Brad!!
The wings on the side are made of one Quickutz Label Die cut in half and added to the sides.
I included some stickers from the Basic Grey Sticker Sheet and Basic Grey Brads.
Of course I added Stickles (Waterfall, Lime Green, and Copper).
I also inked some of the scalloped edges with orange ink.
You can see that I layered and added foam tape all along the building process.
Some of the supplies I used:
The card will be in the store soon, probably tomorrow, with me.

Have a Scrappy-do Day.

I want to give a shout out to all my Wholly Scrap Ladies!
Thank You for all you nice comments they are truly appreciated!!
I am glad you are enjoying this blog, I know that I am!!
Here is my new creation:
This was supposed to be a class, unfortunately due to time issues that did not happen.
Anyway here it is, enjoy!
I started with Black Prism Card Stock and added Gold Bo Bunny Dot Paper.
I incorporated three stripes down the side: Doodlebug Purple Sugar Paper,
Black Prism Card Stock, and a piece of May Arts White Swirl Ribbon.
The photo mats were easy 1 5x7 and 3 2x3 wallet sizes mats.
The Happy Birthday Die in the bottom right corner is from Quickutz cut out in black glitter card stock
and backed with some more purple sugar paper.
The Heidi Swapp Ghost Flowers were embossed with the Cuttlebug Folders and
inked with Black Staz-Onto show all the dimensions.
The Purple Doodlebug Brads in the center of the flowers give them some more color.
In the top left corner shown above I used the Label Die from Quickutz.
I love that it has 3 pieces to one cut, giving me lots of options to embellish!
The black pieces above are cut from Black Glitter Paper from Best Creations.
The memory stamp is an old one I had laying around in my stash.
You know me I love to pop-dot my embellishments, and I did the with the memories piece.
Here is another look at the Doodlebug Embossing. I used a piece of Clear Scraps this time. I used a tag and cut off the top.
I adhered it with another brad and covered one of the small squares.
For the finishing touches I added small flowers and stickled the centers with Ranger Purple Stickles(of course).
This layout is hanging in the store, if you want a closer look.
Here is some of the stuff I used:
I am sure a lot of you have these items, if not, you know where to go............

Hi,
Sorry for the late post, someone had to clean their house?!
Moving onto better topics........
Some of the new Basic Grey has arrived!!
The "porcelain" line is beautiful!!
The line comes with a sheet of card stock stickers, with lots of options for great card making
and 12 x 12 pages.
I was excited to try out a new card size.
This card measures 5 x 7. This package comes with 50 cards and matching envelopes.
The larger size allowed me to expand my design with more layers and images!
My flowers are cut and embossed from Nestabilities, and my lace edge scallop punch is fromFiskars.
I doubled the lace edge for a more dramatic feel.
In between the two lace edges I added another flower cut from Nestabilities.
I added some pink glitter paper as one of my mats and the rest is from the Basic Grey Line.
The close-up of the edge shows that I popped up the bee and flowers and
embellished my lace punch edge with Stickles (cinnamon and fruit punch).
The flowers and lace edge were enhanced with green and pink inks.
I added a small piece of ribbon that says "friendship" ( I have had that ribbon forever).
The bee and pink border are Basic Grey Stickers.
The card will be in the store if you want a close look.
I really enjoyed creating this card. I had so many choices of paper and sticker images that it was easy.
Have a good day (yes it is almost Monday)!
I want to thank all those who left me comments, scrappin would be very lonely without friends!!
I will be in the store Monday morning, come on by and say HI!

You all know how I love to work with acetate.
I decided to create a pocket card with it this time.
I used the acetate from Creative Imaginations.
I cut the acetate to 8 1/2 x 11.
I then folded it (I am not quite sure to show you how to fold this).
This card fold has been around for a while.
I do know that the folding instructions are at Wholly Scrap!
I then used Doodlebug Red Brads to secure the folds and hold the card together.
With the bottom corner brad I added some new Mulberry Embossed Flowers from Prima!!
I cut out some card stock tags,
and added chipboard pieces from the Imaginicse Twitterpated Line.
The card has two pockets.........
I really like how the base dark aqua paper from Creative Imaginations, ( it also has a scalloped edge!)
sets off the Kiwi Prism Card stock.
I hope this card inspires you to create something beautiful.
Have a Scrappy-do Day!!
The weather is getting nicer by the day!!

I made this card a few months ago, but it seems so appropriate to look at it again......
while it is snowing?
I was so pleased when I made this card. Some stuff I make I am happy with,
but some stuff I am really happy with.
Enough with that nonsense, the sunshine charm was the real inspiration for this card.
I picked up a bunch of these little enamel charms from Wicked Fun Art when It was
located upstairs from Wholly Scrap! It was the cutest little thing and I had to incorporate it somehow into one of
my cards.
I hope you are always looking for inspiration, like I am. It is this exciting emotion that keeps us creating!
The flower stamp is from Stampendous. I stamped it on top of a green
Marvvy Scallop Punch and glittered the leaves with Yellow Ranger Stickles.
The center of the flower I place a glue dot and covered that with Orange Flock from Stampendous
and then added an orange brad.
I added strips of ribbon from May Arts and a small mini stamp "you are my sunshine" from Inkadinkado.
I added "fake" green stitching around the edge with my glitter green pen.
The round top of the card was embellished with another Marvvy Scallop Punch and 2 sizes
of Flower Punches also from Marvvy.
The orange flower punch was cut from adhesive backed paper from DCWV. These are the ones you by in a
stack, (I use the really ugly colors for this technique) the ones that know I will never use. I peeled the
backing, exposing the adhesive and flocked it, (so the card-stock color will be on the back). I added a brad to adhere it all together,
and done. The textures on this card really pop!
I want to give a shout out to the girls who have left me inspirational comments, thanks a bunch!!
If you have not noticed I love these little guys....LOL

Happy Tuesday
Don't you just love when a company creates a whole line of
matching papers, that are double-sided?!!
That was my inspiration for the following card.
I wanted to use as many papers as possible within the line
to create a card.
I am like the rest of you........I buy all the papers and only use a few pieces.
Let's use it all up!! lol
I started with a base square 5 x 5 and added my first patterned
paper from the Twitterpated Imaginisce Line. I inked the edges in red and set it aside.
I went to my next layer, 3 1/2 x 4 1/2, inked the edges in red
and scored the right side edge 1/2 inch to be turned and
glued to the back side of the base.
The last layer, 3 1/2 x 4, inked, scored on the left side and glued to the base just like the first piece.
I cut 2 layered Marvvy Scallop punches or Nestibilities and glued them with glue dots to the first flap only.
This will be the "latch" to hold your card closed. (see photo)
Of course I embellished the scallop! I used the Best Creations Blue flowers, 2 layers andpop dotted. The flowers can be stuck to patterned paper and cut out for more detail.
That's what I did: I layered 2 sizes of the blue sticky flowers to patterned paper ( in this casethe orange dot and stripe that comes from the Imaginisce Line). I also included a chipboard piece from that line.
All topped of with Kaiser Kraft Pearls and Ranger Stickles and another chipboard piece!
By the way, I matted my layers with card-stock for extra depth,
strength, and to hide the backside because it is double-sided.
The measurements I gave you include that matted piece.
Here is some of the stuff I used, all available at Wholly Scrap!!
Enjoy!!! lol

I could not resist this new paper from Karen Foster.
It is so "not me" and the usual stuff I gravitate towards........it's soft, pastel, light and sweet.
Some of my McIntosh students and I took a trip to Boston last spring and this paper was the perfect background.
I added a white lined paper from Creative Imaginations, a strip of pink glitter paper from Best Creations, a gray strip of paper from the
Bo Bunny Dot Line,
blue rick rack ribbon, and the stickers that came with the Karen Foster line of paper.
I wanted to add flower embellishments, but keep it light and airy like the paper....
I first stamped a flower image with blue ink, the stamp is part of the Snag'em Stamps in the Imaginisce Twitterpated Line.
I added some small fern stamped images in green ink, these peg stamps are from the Tapestry Stamp Line.
I colored the flowers in with my Pink Marvy Marker and added some clear acetate"ghost" flowers from Heidi Swapp.
On top of the flowers I included some clear DoodleBug Gems, sticker flowers(came with the paper), and pink gem brads from Creative
Imaginations. I did all of this before placing the photo on the page, so that it looked like
it was peeking out from behind. I did overlap the "ghost" flowers for added interest.
I then focused on my little blue bird. Isn't he CUTE!!
He was already positioned on the printed paper perfectly, I just wanted to enhance him. To do that I cut a scallop from Nestabilities, added clear acetate to the back and
stamped with Staz-on onto the acetate a butterfly saying from Impression Obsession. I then cut out a blue bird from the remaining paper, inked the edges in blue and popped it on top.
In the bottom corner I used the new "label" cut from Quickutz and another sticker from the Karen Foster Set.
Here are some of the items I used all available at Wholly Scrap!
Hope to see some of you soon at the store!!

Hello All,
Sorry for the lack of posts, but I have been very busy with my REAL job lol !
However I have some new stuff to share with you.
This is one of my favorite stamps of all time. It is a hydrangea stamp from Impression Obsession.
This is a window card, you know how I love window cards...
I started with the hydrangea stamp. I stamped it in black ink on pale green Bo Bunny Dot Paper, it is double sided. This is important, you will see later. I colored the flower in with my Marvy Markers, using different shades of one color to create the depth, as in the leaf.
Choosing dark green on the edges and a lighter green in the middle gives you a "realistic feel"
I decided not to color the small flowers in all the way (it would of been too much) so I opted to use a Mary Marker again (dark in the center and a lighter touch toward the edges).
You can not really see it, but I added a sparkle of similar color in the center of each flower with the Galaxy Sparkle Pens.
I cut the flower out (not as hard as you think) and set it aside.
Unfortunately, the blue background paper is no longer available at Wholly Scrap! and I can not recall the company name, but a similar paper could be easily substituted.
I carefully cut a rectangle out of the front of the card with a craft knife and placed a piece of acetate over the hole. I covered that with a frame cut with my Sizzix.
I inked the frame with green and pink before gluing it down, covering the cut edges of the card and the acetate.
I then added the flower to the top with foam tape strategically placed so the you could not see it from the inside when opened.
The inside.......
You can now see why I used double sided paper for the flower stamp. You can see it through the window. I added another pink frame from Sizzix on the inside of the window.
I added a coordinating paper (once again the paper is no longer available) to the inside with a "love" stamp.
Add stickles as needed.
The stamp is available at Wholly Scrap! as well as some new cool stuff, continuously coming in from CHA.
For those who do not know what CHA is...........the Crafters Home Association is a huge retailers convention where all the scrapbooking companies present their new lines for stores to purchase and you to enjoy!!
